About Us
Hi,
I'm Tom Bobrowski, founder and owner of Ocean State Fitness
Repair. I began my career in the fitness industry 20 years ago at a
major fitness equipment manufacturer. As the fitness industry
exploded, I watched fitness equipment evolve and become more
sophisticated in order to meet the demand of savvy fitness
enthusiasts. As the design and function of equipment became more
complex, we had to meet that challenge by raising the bar on
customer service and support.
My 20 years of experience is quite diversified. I spent many long
hours on the phone as a phone support technician, assisting field
techs troubleshoot problems on equipment. We uncovered the
need for more structured technical training for field technicians.
This is when I developed one of the first technical training programs
in the industry. My programs later became known as the best and
were rated the highest by technicians and customers nationwide.
In addition to my role conducting technical training, I visited
customers around the world. On countless occasions I was asked to
travel to customer sites when local field service technicians were
unable to resolve difficult issues. I was asked to conduct a visit to
uncover the problem and restore satisfaction with our company and
it's products. I am proud to say that 100% of the time, I left behind a
satisfied customer. I became known by many of my coworkers as
"The Fire Extinguisher".
With the valuable technical service and customer satisfaction skills
that I have gained over the years, I decided it was time to start my
own company. Our goal at Ocean State Fitness Repair is to provide
customers with the highest level of professionalism and the quality
they expect and deserve.
