Tom Bobrowski, founder and owner of Ocean State Fitness Repair, began his career in the fitness industry more than 20 years ago at a major fitness equipment manufacturer. As the fitness industry exploded, he watched fitness equipment evolve and become more sophisticated in order to meet the demand of savvy fitness enthusiasts. As the design and function of equipment became more complex, we had to meet that challenge by raising the bar on customer service and support.
Tom’s 20+ years of experience is quite diversified. He spent many long hours on the phone as a phone support technician, assisting field techs troubleshoot problems on equipment. He uncovered the need for more structured technical training for field technicians. This is when he developed one of the first technical training programs in the industry. His programs later became known as the best and were rated highest by technicians and customers nationwide.
In addition to his role conducting technical training, he visited customers around the world. On countless occasions, he was asked to travel to customer sites when local field service technicians were unable to resolve difficult issues. He was asked to conduct a visit to uncover the problem and restore satisfaction with his company and it’s products. He is proud to say that 100% of the time, he left behind a satisfied customer.
With the valuable technical service and customer satisfaction skills that he has gained over the years, he decided it was time to start his company. Our goal at Ocean State Fitness Repair is to provide customers with the highest level of professionalism and the quality they expect and deserve.
